The Modular and Pre-engineered Design Process
The Design Overview:
- Dine' works hand-in-hand with its customers to choose the design
that best fits their needs for space, functionality and aesthetics.
- The engineering team custom designs buildings to meet local requirements,
to fit into virtually any environment and maximize space and functionality.
- Dine’ assigns a specific Project Manager for the duration of the
project that is responsible for working with the customer and the
company’s design engineering staff in creating building designs.
The Building Design Criteria:
- Space and Functionality: Dine' is experienced
in designing space for maximum functionally. We have designed
a wide range of facilities for Government and Military installations,
large office and administrative buildings, training centers, medical
and research laboratory facilities and barrack/dormitory buildings.
- Aesthetics: Dine' has the ability to use a variety
of exterior finishes to ensure that your new buildings will blend
in with existing structures or fit with regional architectural styles.
These exterior treatment options include a variety of materials,
colors, trim options, roofing systems and other architectural enhancements.
- Timing: Every building Dine' produces is custom
designed to meet the end user’s unique needs. Consequently, design
time can vary depending on project. However, since Dine' utilizes
partnering firms who have their own team of in-house design engineers,
overall design time for most projects has a fairly rapid turnaround.
Project Management:
- Dine' assigns an experienced Project Manager to have single point
interface responsibility with the customer. Single point interface
is critical on large or complex projects to ensure that the customer
always has one contact point with all critical answers.
- The Project Manager will be supported by a full Project Team consisting
of three professional disciplines:
- Design Engineering
- Manufacturing/Production
- Logistics and Site Development
- Dine’ utilizes in-house professionals to meet all these disciplines
and assigns individuals based on how their experience relates to
the needs of the specific project. We employ our own unique internal
scheduling methodology to maximize the timing and cross functional
activities. All of our work is buttressed thorough quality control
at every stage in the process.
- Quality control is critical to any
construction process. For a large scale project, Dine’ utilizes a
four-process Quality Control System to ensure proper building design
and construction at every phase.
